need cam help (newbie here)
need cam help (newbie here) So I am thinking of getting a cam but I would like to know a few things first. First off I am extremely infantile when it comes to this sort of thing, but trying to learn. I have read a little bit of the stickies, until it started looking like french to me. What I am really trying to achieve is something that will up my power but not make it insane. It isnt my daily but I use it at least 3-4 times per week for odds and ends. Im not trying to burn the track down, just something that will have a little more kick in the ***. I have been told to get a LS6 cam, they come by cheap and the other stuff, springs, rockers, etc. can be bought as a package. If yall could help me out and possibly list cams that yall have had experience with and their pluses and negatives. Again not looking for a tire melting cam, just one that will have a decent gain.
