Exclamation Blew My Engine! Question on What to do!!

I blew the engine and really don't know what to do. Should I just rebuild it with all forged or go with bigger motor. I was told that my car will worth more down the road with the stock motor. I have no idea what to do! Also saw some forged parts for sale but the guy asked what my bore is. Does anyone know what the stock bore is on a LS6?

yhea go bigger do a 383 or 408 or if ur a true bad *** get the Lsx 427 block and do the works... it sucks cuz your gunna have to sell your cam unless you wiped it out, but obviously with that motor you can make nuts horsepower, and like people said its not thattt much more money (besides the cost of the block)

What's wrong with the motor? You need to tear it down and see what all is hurt before ordering any parts.

Go check out some of the sponsers. Its almost cheaper just to buy a built short block. Using SDPC 347 and have no issues.

If you can afford it you can't go wrong with a 383 reusing your block if she's still good to go. Rip her apart and examine the carnage first than decide.

You can get a 382/383 rotating assembly pretty cheap. If your short-block is still good that would be your best bet. Fully assembled for under 3k by HKE.
