Default Internal Help Please

I am wanting to put a cam in my car. I was wanting to put an F15 .600",.611" Futral Motorports cam in, are there any precautions or extra measures that I need to take besides the LT's, Valve springs and a tune???

depending on your mileage you may want to consider an oil pump, and timing chain but since its an 02 you could probably get by without it. Your going to need the cam, valvesprings (kit with seals, seats, retainers, and locks), new front seal, valve cover gaskets, i think 02 had the revised waterpump gaskets that dont need to be replaced, oil, coolant, maybe a good time to replace the serpentine belt, and check the water pump (again a mileage factor), you'll definitely want a professional tune, and i would agree with headers, and a more free flowing exhaust.

with 66k on it i would definitely put an oil pump on it, and if you got the money maybe a waterpump too! I didnt put one on mine (68k) and 2 weeks with the cam, and the waterpump **** the bed.
