Default Shorty Head question

On top of my Header project that I am trying to get figured out I was thinking I know that the 01-02 manifolds are said to flow alot better than the other years and I wanted to ask if it was possible to run CNC ported LS6 heads befor I got Longtubes and a Y? And if so would it also be possible to run a small cam, somewhere around a 220/240

The port design is not going to change from LS1, LS2, LS6....ect if that is what you are asking.

220/240 is the smallest big cam I have ever heard of!!! Hopefully you meant 220/224. Nothing wrong with running a cam like that on a stock set of LS1 heads either. That should not matter either way. Just don't get that big of a traditional split.

You will be shorted a little, but you will see a big improvement overall. It wont matter if you are planning to do the headers close to the same time.

well I might just do Heads since im gona need an extra like $700 to get Headers. And I don't have a lot of patience of my own to wait a few more months of paychecks. But the ones I was planning on getting were the CNC ported heads from TSP, they are only about $1049.99

Still those are a decent head. You want a show car right? Does it have to produce power as well?

Sounds like you need a procharger with a polished plenum.
