Default which heads for my setup?

im not guna pretend that i know what im talking about ive been searching around for a few days now and cant come up with my own conclusion. im looking for budget heads. i dont know whats best for my setup though. heres what im working with

99 LS1 (STOCK)
226/226 .584/.584 112+4 XER---TR 7.4's---918's
intake
p&p throttle body
Truck intake manifold
pacesetters/ory/exhaust
asp underdrive/alt overdrive
4.10
A4
3600 stall
FULL BOLT ON

this is all in an extended cab silverado. ive looked mostly into Patriot ls6 castings and the PRC 5.3 or ls6 castings. im not worried about quality or customer service from either vendor. i know both are top notch. my question is which head would work best with my combo. what is the ideal compression for a daily driven truck? patriots come with double springs and ti retainers. it sounds like the better "deal" to me, but im willing to swap my 918's over to the prc heads if the gains would be better. 93 octane is available all around me and custom tuning isnt an issue. what do yall think?

I assume you have the 5.3, so your stock chambers should be around 61cc. I know you can get 59cc LS6 style from Patriot. Both would probably mill to whatever you wanted, but I would go with a chamber at least as small as your stock ones.

nope...check my mod list and sig. i swapped in a LS1 about a year back. needing these heads for a stock bottom end LS1. any opinions about that one? or atleast answers to ideal compression for a dependable daily driver? maybe a reason the patriots are so cheap in comparison to the prc's (considering dual springs and TI retainers) any info at all

no experience on the truck compression but i'd get your dcr up in the 8.5 range or slightly higher which would put your scr probably in the low 11.xxx range. i would suggest getting a decent head with the smallest runner possible .i know you said budget but an afr 205 would be ideal in that truck for velocity/torque. anyways get a set of .040 cometics to tighten up the quench also whatever head you decide to go with. just my $.02
