Default Quick: spark plug gap for NGK 02 Z28

Hey guys,
quick question. I am taking out my 86k miles original uridium spark plug and replacing w/ NGK TR55...Whats the gap supposed to be?

they come gapped correctly from ngk i beleive

seems like they're supposed to be at .050? what do people really gap them at? I ask this as I heard a closer gap is easier on the coil packs??
