What ya'll think of this cam grind?
I am looking for a cam ground with 0.050 specs of 230/255 112 and 0.570/0.570. Anyone have any idea who would make something like this? Any idea how it would run in a 346 with GM CNC LS6 heads? Auto 3500 stall and 3.73 gears, big tube headers threw muffs? PMC mods of course. I will be driving the car on the street but it is a weekend car so fuel milage and a little extra work driving it is no problem. My calculations show this out to make about 318hp at 3500 and 494hp at 6500. Net of course. Or does anyone know of a cam that will do that without any doubts? I am also looking at the GM ASA cam.

perhaps you meant, 230/235? 255 is simply too large for optimum power w/LS1 heads and stock displacement. remember, big duration numbers dont always make the best power because that's just one piece of the pie. LS1 heads flow so well on the exhaust, it's actually better to go with some of these reverse split cams for complete n/a performance rather than a standard split. just a tidbit that would be noteable. hope that helps.
now the asa cam on the other hand is a pretty good nitrous cam thats gonna lope pretty ugly. might give that a shot, or at least spend some time on the phone with some of the guys at comp before ya pick the sucker. good luck with it,
