Default Wheel Hop

Sorry if this in the wrong section but i asked this question at camaro forums and came up with little and you guys seem very intelligent. I have a 2000 WS6 and have had it for 5 years and the last couple years i have been getting a little wheel hop, didnt care to much becuase i only drive it about 1500 miles a year but i did some headers and catless y pipe and a tune and now the wheel hop is brutal, now i am getting a cam and gears and expect it do get worse, i had the sway bar endlinks checked out and they looked great and he said that maybe my shocks were getting worn, it is very possible the car has 70000 miles on it now but what can i do to improve this, maybe boxed control arms or should i get a torque arm that i have been reading about?
thanks for any input

Some new LCA's and the 1" relo bracket cured the little wheel hop I had at the track.

yep, start with LCA's, they're cheap and they should take care of your problem. If after your cam, it starts again, get the TA.
