Default 241 milling

hey im interested in milling my set of stock 241's down a few thousanths. how much could i mill them down, and how much would it raise the compresion?

.006" is going to equal 1cc of material. It takes about 6cc to equal 1 point in compression. So if you wanted to go up to say 10.5-1, you will need to mill approx. .018". One thing to keep in mind when milling is your PTV clearance with aftermarket cams.

ive got a .588 lift cam and im using a .040 head gasket. whats the most i can safley mill off?

whats the stock head gasket thickness. And, can anyone tell me the chamber volume and stuff so i can go to a calculatr online and figure out stuff and wat milling does to raise compression

I have 241 heads milled 0.030, a 0.040 cometic gasket, with a Futral F6 226/230 .575/.595 112lsa. Hope this helps.
