Default Forged shortblock is in.....Any pre start priming?

I got the motor installed about 45 minutes ago but my main belt is too short(switched from a ASP to an ATI). Should you do anything to the motor to prime the oil pump? When I assembled the motor I used GM assembly lube and filled the oil pump/lines as much as I could with oil. Any pre start tips? I can hear the exhaust rumbling now....

I would prime the pump to get some oil flowing prior to startup. Do this by pulling the PCM bat fuse and the fuel pump fuse. Turn the motor over for about 15 to 20 seconds giving the starter equal amounts of rest. Once you see oil pressure, replace the fuses and start her up
