Default HOW DO I shim a ls6 oil pump?

Im thinking of shimming my ls6 pump. What is need to do this?

What are you wanting to shim ?.. the pump away from the block for clearance of the timing chain or the bypass valve in the pump ?

SLP has a shim for those pumps.

What he said.. You can make your own, but knowing how much to add is the question, I think I read how much on another thread. search for it.

With a new stock LS6 pump in my LS1, I am getting over 80+ cold / Startup and around 65 warm / idle. Using Penzoil syn 5-30w.

Warning, too much pressure is not always good thing.
