Wizzer Pads on the LS1

Wizzer Pads on the LS1 My buddy cleaned up the head gasket markings on my block using a wizzer. Now I read all about the pads messing up alum. blocks. A tech that I work with said if the egnine oil is drained before the engine is turned over, and the engine oil is again replaced after the cam/valve spring break in, I should be fine. He also recommended a Bilstien flush. What do you guys think?
Re: Wizzer Pads on the LS1 I will agree with Joe on this one. There is a sponser on this board who did a cam swap twice on my motor with these types of pads. Needless to say when I pulled the motor to rebuild my machinest had to deck the block 8 thousands to clean it up. Once that has happened, you have to buy a custom piston and deal with intake sealing issues and some other stuff. Should be okay, the heads sealed after the second came swap and at that point the block was out 8 thou, so you should be fine.
