Recommend some heads please!!
Late 2001 Vette, TTS longtubes, ported throttle body, Vortex rammer, SLP Loudmouths.
Going with a 230/236 .550/.550 112 cam need recommendations for a set of heads to be in the 10.5:1 range (=/-.3), yet suit the cam well and MUST, MUST have double springs. Can't run excessive compression due to 92 octane being the highest pump available. Thanks!

From: HOU - yeah, you know the rest.
MTI has a stage 2 cylinder head special running now. They use 2.055/1.60 valves, dual springs and do an incredible job of porting/polishing the heads. For more info. click on their website.
it depends on how much you want to pay and what cam. If you want the highest numbers posible go with some ported ls6 heads, just be ready to shell out over 3 grand for cores, and then for a port job. Personaly for the money equal to performance i would go with the new patriot heads, absolute spead heads, or some TEA heads. Look into some 5.3 ltr truck heads, they are at 11:1 comp ratio without milling. For ls1 heads i think you need to go down .030 to get that comp.
Suggestion:
What ever heads you consider buying, ask the seller what the warranty covers and get it in writting.
Apparently, at least one sponsor here will void your warranty if you change springs to conform with recommendations made by a cam manufacturer.
