Default Can I Spray w/ Bad o2?

I have a friends (who doesnt have internet) and he wants to know if it would be ok to spray his car with a bad o2 sensor. I said prolly not since o2's dont work in WOT, but wanted to check with yall. Its a 99 Camaro LS1.

He can just have his tuner turn them off. Or just un-plug them and reset his computer.

Its the rear o2, the code it throws is rear bank.I think he said left. If he does a dummy o2 it should still be fine wont it?
