Just got my car back from Speed Inc. for a dyno tune. 375 hp and 380 lb.ft. Exceeded my expectations by quite a bit. They did a fanstatic job on the tune- car idles great shift points are perfect, a/f is flat as a billiard table.
They even put stock MAF ends on the car for me (I had de-screened and ported) since my ported ones were making the sensor give screwy readings.
Only add'l mod not in my sig is an LS6 manifold added on dyno day.
Pretty damn good for a cam only automatic!

Thanks! The car actually caught on fire on the dyno (the uncoated hooker ignited the heater box), I was really bummed out on the phone when Larry from Speed Inc was telling me about it, but then he said it was making over 370 hp when the fire started- suddenly the fire didn't seem so bad. The damage was minimal anyway- you couldn't notice where it happened unless someone pointed it out. Makin' good power and on fire- how cool is that!
What's wierd about the fire is that I had been driving the car without a hint of trouble- I guess the dyno really builds some heat, and I'm glad that it happened in a controlled environment instead of out on the road somewhere. We'll get her dialed and fireproofed.

i have dyno vids of headers turning red hot, actually glowing..
headers do get really hot i guess..
well the vid i saw was actually a turbo manifold.. and yea there is alot more heat involved with turbo manifolds.. but still!
