Has anyone tried thins combo yet? I have really been kicking it around on the ground. I know there will be some P2V clearance issues, but I would fix tat with a set of Forged diamond pistons with 2cc reliefs.
The MTI Stage 2 LS6 heads have been the big dog heads for stock cube motors for a while now (but I am biased
).
Just wondering what this combo might be able to produce?
Any ideas folks?

MTI mills their heads, so I think it would be hard to run that cam without getting some valve reliefs cut in...
I had the .30 over MTI heads and had problems w/a .591 cam...

So why are you making the switch from a reverse split to a standard split?
. I just hadnt heard of anyone using this head and cam combo yet. The heads have always produced big numbers for everyone using them and now that LG has this cam out that is making some sweet numbers I would like to see how the 2 work together. I don't think MTI mills all their heads, just an option. My LS6 heads aren't supposed to be milled. I run a C1 cam. I'm be real curious about this too. My cars down now but I was thinking about changing the cam.

My heads were milled .30 when I got them from MTI. So there is no way around having the valve releifs in the pistons. Only thing I dont like about that is that I will probably loose a little compression. I would like to see the CR right at about 11.5:1
I would cc the chambers, if you had a pipette and some spare time. Ive also got some MTI stage 3 LS6 heads, and Im pretty sure they werent milled .030 The LS6 heads start at around 10.8 so a couple 2 cc reliefs may not be killing you much.
Besides, being that close to me, I cant believe you can get any better than 92 octane at the pump anyways
. At least you can pump your own gas. (where is the
graemlin when I need him?)

I have some MTI stage 2 heads milled .030. Wish I could afford some ls6 heads
Hopefully when i get another motor put in the car ill have some dyno numbers. The last combo was tuned but the motor had major problems thanks to the machine shop. Im hoping to hit 410 throught B&B Tri-flow and ill be happy. This is in a big stalled a4. Hopefully ill get some times soon.
