Does the Ls1 work ok with someting like this ?

as long as the Valve events are right it should still run good ehh ?

Want some cam sound , but dont want a big cam . Want a small cam that doesn't fall on its face at 6,000 rpm and carrys strong after peak .

I came up with this ..

223lsk/227lsk .374''/.376'' 108lca/110icl ..10* overlap @.050 from a 224/228

Ivo 27 / 2
Ivc 67 / 42
Evo 65 / 40
Evc 33 / 8

Cars has 4.11's , all the bolt on's .

Look like a good choice ? Or would it be better at 110+0 ?

I couldn't put my finger on it, but something with those VE's looks off, especially the exhaust. I'm far from an expert though, so don't take any offense. It looks like you'll hang onto a most of your dynamic compression with it, which is cool. That might save some of your power down low, but those exhaust VE's look like they will give you good sound with sub-par performance.

If you want big cam sound you could just use the proven 224/224, drop your idle a little and pull your idle spark. Pulling spark at idle will change the sound quite a bit, not sure of any ill effects of it using it long term though. I was scared to leave mine idle for long periods of time like that and it didn't take me long to change it back.

You would be correct, Thorny.

When I change my cell preferences to 1 decimal place, the cam begins to look like this: (@.050)

Ivo 1.5
Ivc 41.5
Evo 39.5
Evc 7.5

just a rounding error..........
