Default Yella's + Comp 987 duals and an XER...

This is the combo I have in my new motor and my car still sounds like a sewing machine. Is this to be expected with 987's and a large .600 XER?

Sounds normal to me. XER lobes and double springs aren't going to be quiet.

if you think about what is causing the noise in the first place, you will realize that its going to be hard to dampen the noise.

i am under the imression that the noise is due to the ramp of the lobe being very agressive, it kind of just lets the valve slam shut.. i may be wrong, but how are new rocker arms going to deaden the noise of a valve shutting hard?

damnit!! Thats why I ordered the rockers to begin with I have Comp 987's as well and the car currently sounds like a sewing maching. I only got them to reduce the noise

I'm sure my TR 230/224 is part of the problem
