Default cam swap question

we are going to do a cam swap this weekend on a 99z28. I know the lifters are underneath the heads and we dont plan to remove them. How do i hold the lifters in place so they dont fall down after we remove the camshaft? what will i need to do this? i know the lifters will stick in the cups but was wondering if there is anything else needed

ls1howto.com

there are some tools for this
or
5/16 with one side flattened dowel rods
or
spin and pray
or
pen magnets,,,,,etc

i personally would just buy the tools from TR,,they are like 80 bucks,,work just like the wood dowels, but won't break off. I've heard the dowels work just fine, just dont be ram rodin **** so they dont break off in there.
