Default Building a motor

So I just bought a motor from a local shop, and need to assemble it. However, I need some help, I have built motors...but never one of my own, and i'd like to do this one perfectly how it should be haha. I need plasti gauge, where can I get some? Where can I find a list of all the clearances I need?

Do i need any special assembly lube for stuff? Do I need to loctite anything?

The list is by no means small. A factory service manual will have all that info. Or head down to a local GM dealership and ask them.
