Default Trex & 1.8 rockers

What do you think about going 1.8 rockers with a trex? I know flycutt is a MUST and new lifters would be a good idea, already got 921 comp spring kit and 7.400 prods

TREX cam (1.7 rockers) 242/248 - .608/.612 - 110 lsa

Got the formula = lift x (new rocker) 1.8 / (old rocker) 1.7 and these were my numbers

TREX cam (1.8 rockers) 242/248 - .643/.648 - 110 lsa

What do you think about the lift? Any recommendations? thanks

I think, no. to steep of a ramp rate for a 1.8.

Beside a lot of deflection in the pushrods (which will negate your newly found lift) I think you will finish off your stock lifters.

its just not worth it...and likely not even possible.

the physics behind the geometry of the setup would prevent it.

and in all honesty...the added lift wouldn't make THAT much of a difference. you'd need some serious heads to take advantage of that flow.

ramp rate on the cam itself is too extreme for 1.8. even thunder racing doesn't recommend 1.8 rocker.
