Got a problem..
I just finished swapping the Lifters out in my 402 cause I had a bad one..we start the Engine and it runs up fine, no problems, idles good, 65psi Oil Pressure.
When it warms up, there is a INTERMITTENT ticking in the back of it on the right side..nothing constant, and it's not that loud. It's louder than an Exhaust leak, but not as loud as a Rod Bearing knocking or anything like that.
I inspected the Valve Springs, Cylinder Walls, pretty much everything when it was apart.
Cold it's fine, when it warms up, it does it..

In the Engine sounds like a bunch of Midgets beating the hell out of it with Hammers..
I'm tearing it down, and checking it all out..
When ever that Lifter went, it shot something somewhere, and it went to ****..

I would suggest inspecting the cam lobes again...just to be sure.
I had the same problem with a set of Comp 850s a while back. Started intermittently, then turned into a constant tick. Pulled it all apart and had one bad lifter and one bad lobe on the cam.
Ended up buying a new cam and all new lifters. No problems since.
Good luck!
