Default Help me with internals

I am building a mostly stock ls1. I have the block at the machine shop to have it honed and new cam bearings installed. I am looking for advice on:

1. rings don't know///
2. rod bolts arp???
3. oil pump ls6 stock???
4. timing chain ls2 stock???
5. head gaskets stock???
6. bottom end bearings clevlite???
6. anything else I should consider?

I have tried to search, but the info is to random and normally refers to high dollar strokers. I will run a cam one day and most of my rides get a shoot of juice on them , but nothing crazy. Thanks for any input.

Give SDPC a call and theyll be able to suggest a good collection of parts for a mild build.

But anyway, heres my input. I assume this is a budget buildup:

1. Stock or mahle
2. ARP
3. Ported LS6 or melling high flow
4. Stock LS2 chain on stock sprockets
5. Stock MLS gasket
6. Depends on your builder, but 77's are popular

well what are trying to get out of the car??? depending on your set up that would matter on what type of internals you get.... nitrous cars are going to be different than n/a or turbo.

I know what your saying, but I don't know the future. I have toyed with the notion of taking the turbo off the truck and turboing the car , but more than likely it will see a cam , some bolt ons and a single stage of juice. If I knew it was going FI, I would spring for some forged slugs, but cash is a factor.
