Default 427cid users ... cam question

I am playing with the idea of an iron 427cid with a hydraulic cam. What cam specs are you other guys using with a power adder and how is the idle quality?

Default Re: 427cid users ... cam question

Thats the exact motor MTI just built for me that powers my 98 C5 vert. I am running MTI's most aggresive hyd cam, the S1, through my large 4000 stall A4 and with Jayson (owner of MTI) expert tuning the car idles like a champ and has never stalled on me in 3 months. The specs on the cam are a healty 244/244, .612 lift and 112lsa. This cam works great with N20 as that is what MTI uses in their Z07 7 liter motors that have taken people into the 10s on motor and 9s on spray.

Call Jayson at MTI and he will give you whatever other tech. info you need and will set you up. I say S1 cam all the way would be perfect for you through your M6.
