The chambers in my 6 liter heads are VERY rough with all kinds of little bumps and casting flash, etc. My thinking is that I need to smooth them up a little, especially with forced induction, to help with detonation (eliminate hot spots) I didn't want to break out the 'ol Dremel until checking with some other people. What do you guys think?

I left my CNC marks on my ported LS6 heads; it runs great...
...if the heads are ported, ask the porter if smothing out the scratches will void the warranty...
