stock LS1 cam '98-00:
202/210 intake/exhaust degrees duration
.496/.496 inches lift 116 LSA

stock LS1 cam '01-02:
198/197 intake/exhaust degrees duration
.478/.478 inches lift 115 LSA

The one you list is for 'Vette LS1s.

thanks... so my 98 has a bigger cam than the 01's but they've got the better intake manifold huh?

eh the 2k has a bigger cam then all years..so that posts isnt totally accurate

Yeah that's right. My theory is they started using the Corvette LS1 intake on both cars to cut production costs, but then found they had to scale back the Fbody cam so the 'vettes would still be the fastest.

I got those specs from raughammer's site which is now defunct . . . maybe he has some comment on this. In support of what you are saying, I have a 2000 Camaro brochure that says something about "you will really feel a difference in the midrange response due to a slightly different cam design."
