Default Wanting to upgrade the bottom end...

I'm looking to pretty much just stay N/A and run on pump gas, but since i think i dropped a valve...i'm just gonna upgrade the bottom end....what kind of pistons/rods etc. does everyone recommend upgrading too...I wanna keep this car as a daily driver but just have a built bottom end.

you have piston damage? pull the head first and look. maybe you just need a head rebuild.

i just don't know why you would want to build the bottom end when youn may need more money up top but if i redid the bottom end i would go with a 383 kit

I'm not really concerned about the heads....i have a set of TEA stg 2 heads laying around....the heads on there are stock...its a 98 so to pick up another set shouldn't be too expensive.

My $.02 Mahle pistons, stock rods, arp bolts and have it balanced. That is if you are going to stay N/A and not rev beyond 7000rpm
