nitrous + custom cam recommendations?
nitrous + custom cam recommendations? Hello everybody. From what i've researched on LS1tech, i decided that i want to go with a custom camshaft. I have decided i want a cam with these specs: 228/232 .588 .595. on a 112 LSA on XER lobes.
I don't really understand the + whatever LSA stuff so would you guys mind recommending if i should have any advance ground into the cam?
My car is a 00 SS so i don't really want to be revving over 6600-6700 rpms.
I plan on going with the TSP port LS6 heads. The car currently has a 150 shot plate kit, Edelbrock merge collector long tubes, ORY, magnaflow cat back, throttle body, LS6 intake, and UD pulley.
Please feel free to offer suggestions if you feel a differently spec'd cam is better.

with that cam on a 112 or a 112 + 2 you should peak probably around 6100-6300 or so so 6600 should be around your shift points so you are good there. with those heads and a nice mid 11 XX scr or so with a 90/90 you should be well over 430 rwhp and it should work pretty well on the jug still also.
