Default self aligning or adjustable rockers?

i have 98 trans am ls1 and i have a slight ticking in my engine i think my pushrods are to long . im gonna order some rocker arms what brand should i go with and what type. is the adjustable worth taking the time to adjust or should i just get shorter pushrods.

depends on which adjustable rocker kit you get. the vinci/crane roller rocker kit comes with rockers, pushrods, guideplates, screw in studs, and posi locks.

is this what u reccomend. i have a stock ls1 with 04 ls6 heads cam and intake. with 7.400 chromoly pushrods from comp

it's what i used on the wife's car. i used their 1.8 rocker kit and picked up 17 rwhp on a stock 99 LS1 cam.

here's the dyno sheet.
