I had a situation with my ls1 that turned out to be something minor....the lock for the valve spring came out and pretty much as a result the valve bent...It gently touched the piston....everything is still good....but i still decided on doing a 402....now about 7 months ago i did a cam swap and changed everything...my question is...can i still reuse some of the other parts from the car? or should i get everything new? what do you guys recommend upgrading for the 402? lifters? rockers? timing chain? fuel injectors? fuel pump?
