Oil Question (nothing to do with weights)

Oil Question (nothing to do with weights) Not sure if this is the right place to post this, and this has nothing to do with weights.
Tomorrow i am storing my Trans Am. My question is i cahnged my oil maybe 1,000 miles ago. Do i need to change it again before i put it away? Regardless i always change it when i pull it out in spring, but will i be ok to store it with oil that has maybe 1,000 miles on it? BTW i use Synthetic oil...

I've always pondered this too as I usually never change it before storage but before I fire it up in the spring I change it. No probs so far but would like to be told different if this is a bad idea?
I deal with marine engines and there is alot of talk about this. One point is storing with used oil will cause corrosive etching like wear to occur from the contaminates in used oil sitting on the metal surfaces. The other thought is that condensation will build up in the oil from sitting. Any that would however will be burned out the first time the engine is brought to operating temp.
My advice is to change it and use the oil you drained in a lawnmower. Oil is cheap and engines are not. Why risk anything at $25? Change it now and then you can fire up in the spring and go.

I think that i a m going to just leave it. As it was not driven hard in those 1000 miles. So now it is time to prep the car before i put it away. Thanks guys.
