Hey there! Can you think of anything I am missing for my upcoming installation???? Here is a list of what I have enroute - let me know if I have forgotten anything I am going to need - hate to get halfway done and find some pissant part I forgot cost me $$ or more importantly time waiting!

16 Manley Chromemoly pushrods
SLP headers/Ypipe/Cats/Install kit/Stage 8 bolts
SLP LS6 intake kit for 98/99 with EGR hookups
Rollmaster heat treated double roller chain kit
head/exhaust/timing/etc gaskets

What about a ported oil pump? Think I need one or is it not necessary at my level? Can't wait to get all this stuff in...

i would add a ASP underdrive crank pulley while it is apart <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

 

yea I would get an oil pump, cheap insurance <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

 

I can't find a ported oil pump on any sponser site...anyone know where to find one? Katech lists nothing, and that was the only one I had heard of!

Most companies dont list the oil pumps for some reason <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> but most have them, you just have to call. I know you have to call kateh, MTI, ARE, Cartek, LS1 motorsports (maybe) and Lingenfelter has to have some. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
