Why in the world would you keep the stock converter?

I seriously doubt you'll get high 10's with a stock coverter, No headers. Maybe 11.50 but i think thats pushing it.

Like chikn said fuel pump and injectors are a must, you could might get away with a 100 shot. Get yourself a good verter, some headers, a different catback or a cutout, and some good slicks and i could see high 10's

BTW my times with hotcam and a 150 shot are in sig.

IF you didn't run lean and IF you could get traction out of the hole and IF you spray through the shifts (a lot of IFs) high 10's could be possible. I ran 11.3 with 150 shot dry, cutout, ET streets, with a 3550 raceweight and no other mods. The running lean part would scare me though, at least ATAP a little first.
Good luck!

get both injectors and fuel pump.. even spraying a 100shot with the cam is gonna suck fuel!

also, get some atap numbers man before you blow that car! Look into a wet kit if you are thinking about spraying a 150shot alot also.

also.... get a converter, see EFA's sales section! offaxis has a vig3200 for sale! Perfect verter for spray and cam

Ya, I wouldn't even bother with any aftermarket camshaft without first upgrading to a better torque converter. It will take the stock verter forever to take advantage of the Hotcam's powerband and it'll kill you out of the hole.

Get a Vig 2800 or 3200(especially the 3200) and you'll have a lot more fun/success with the Hotcam.

And BTW, the Hotcam loves the juice. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
