Fly Cutting Pistons, What is the average cost to do? Related to my earlier post regarding how large of a cam can be used with the LS6 GM Performance heads (milled .055"). Assuming that the pistons would require fly cutting, what is the average price shops charge to do this? I am trying to determine total costs for this project. Thanks.

Re: Fly Cutting Pistons, What is the average cost to do? Could anyone describe how to do this, I found the tool needed at isky.com but I do not know how to use it, has anybody done this before that can comment with some amount of detail on how to do this?

Re: Fly Cutting Pistons, What is the average cost to do? The tool I saw uses a drill. You bolt the tool down using the head bolt and hook the drill to the cutter. With the piston at TDC it cuts the proper reliefs....
