Well I installed my new oil pump from Thunder tonight. Since I have a Rollmaster double I had to use spacers during the install. As per the instructions I used a small amount of RTV to seal up the feed hole. Luckly I had the oil pan off and had the oportunity to loosen the bolt holding the feed tube. This helped some, but I still had to bent the tube out a small amount for a perfect fit. It is worth noting that the manual says to not allow the bolt to push the feed tube into the pump. Rather you should push it in all the way first then place the bolt in and tighten it up to 106 In. Lbs. Everything went well and after bending the tube ever so slightly it pushed in easily. Then I tightened up the bolt holding the feed tube to the windage tray to 18 Ft. Lbs.
