Default Head gaskets?

I'm doing a h/c swap and was wondering what kind of head gasket i should use. i don't want to use cometics because i don't want to spend the money. should i use gm gaskets or what are my other options?

I just got the GM MLS gasket to use when I put my AFR 59cc heads on. Loss of a little compression but it doesnt bother me. What heads and cam are you using?

the GM MLS Head Gaskets # GM12589227 is good and cheaper than Cometic and Felpro

I havn't fully decided on a cam yet but i'm leaning towards a t-rex or ms4 and i'm gonna run a set of hand ported heads. i got the motor out of it now and i'm replacing the rod bolts and bearings. think i'm gonna go with gm gaskets thanks for the help.
