Looking to go with the 224/224 114lsa cam along with pacesetter LT's and a catted y-pipe. right now I have just a lid and LM1 catback. My goal is to get around the 375-380 rwhp range without the world knowing I have a cam while still being a DD car. I was also thinking of going with the LM2 muffler in place of my LM1 resonator. Also how would that cam act with 3.90 gears in my 2000 SS M6.

Just need some thoughts and opinions on how the car will sound and drive and any other combo that work with my goal in mind, Thanks!

 

Also, how would the CheaTR cam compare to the TR224?

 

do the 224 cam and a ls6 intake . you would make a easy 380 yet still keeping it a reliable DD

 

what about sound, I dont want it to be obnoxious and I'd like it to sound close to stock idle. So now I'm wondering how loud/raspy it will be with LT's cats and LM2 muffler?

 

The 114lsa will sound a little choppier than the stock idle if you keep cats on the car.. It will sound much nastier if you remove the cats..

 

G5x3 on 110, 4k stall, true duals dumped at axle. i love my DD setup...
