Default Need Help.....car stumbled on the dyno

I had my car on the dyno for a few pulls and on the 4th pull(motor) it stumbled a couple of times. Once at 4600 and another time at 5900. The graph showed that it went went lean 14.6 at the times when it stumbled. It only did it on one pull.

I know this will be like a needle in a haystack to try to find.

I was thinking that it might be the MAF, glitch in the fuel pump, coil, or possibly a spring getting weak.

I know this will be hard to find because it has only done it one time, but I would like to get some ideas on what you think might cause this to happen.

Thanks,

Brent

Are you running stock injectors? If so they're maxed out I'm sure.

I have 42 lb injectors and a Racetronix pump. The pump holds 55 lbs at 6500.

Thanks

Guess that rules that out. And you're right about the needle in a haystack. You can double check all the connections for your fuel pump and the grounds on the back of the heads.

My tuner told me that the simplest thing can cause that. He claims that spark plugs often cause that on the dyno. He recommends the plain factory AC Delco plugs........He says he's done this more than once. Not saying that it is for sure your problem--just relaying something he shared.

I put a new set of plugs in for the Nitrous pull so that we could remove them and read them. They looked really good. I guess that could be a possibility though.

That is the first time it has ever stumbled like that. May not ever do it again

I am running tr6's gapped at 32

thanks everyone
