Default looking for mild cam/mod advice

hi guys! I'm new around here, and to the LS1 world. I've got a porsche 944 I'm putting an LS1 in. The motor I'm getting for it is the older LS1 without the LS6 intake. I plan on getting an LS6 intake for it though, and the exhaust I will be using has 1 3/4" primaries and 3" collectors. They will go to 3" cutoffs before merging into a single 2.5" pipe. I don't want to make the dive for heads just yet, so I need a cam that can work good with the stock heads, ls6 intake, and my exhaust.

my goals are pretty simple. A cost effective cam for mild mods with a good power curve, powerband is more important then big numbers for right now, but if I can get over 350 at the wheels on a good powerband I'll be more then happy, but then again more is always better

If you never plan on heads, and want to work well with your existing LS1 manifold (or LS6 later)
