please help!!!!! ok i am doing a head and cam swap and i and going to change everything in the same night and i need to change push rods and i dont have time to use the checker and then order them so i need some info on a couple which u think i may need i am gonna buy like 2 different sizes and then use my checker when i do the swap i have a comp 224/230 581/591 on a 114lsa and i have ls1 heads that are milled .025 so does anyone know a couple lengths that will get me close thanks a lot
I'm running a simular comp custom grind on an xer lob in my car. Im using a 7.425 length pushrod with factory heads and gskt's. I went with the longer PR to quiet down the lifters. You can hear them ,but deffinantly not as loud as they where with the factory stuff. The factory length at 7.40 may work for you if you using factory head gskt's.
