Default Head gains???

on the average... say you have a full bolt-on car... and a 224 cam... what kinda gains can be seen from a set of heads? say AFR 205's???

well the 224 cams usually dyno what 370-380 through m6 ? and i'd say just swaping heads only i's say hp should be in the 415-420 range just guessing so i'd say between 30-40 rw.also depends on cc of the heads,probably only around 30 or so if not gaining any compression and 40 or so if raising the scr/dcr up there where it needs to be.

I have seen AFR 205's provide as much as 45 hp on a stock cam when installed so I would think 35-45 is a reasonable expectation. I never set my sights too high, that's how you get disappointed.

Properly tuned, milled with a thinner gasket, you should see 40>50 rwhp (AFR 205)
