Default ported intake question

do any of you guys know what kind of hp gains come from porting the intake?
how much does it cost,or is it worth it and would it even be a good mod for someone with stock internals? thanks

i think it depends on the intake your porting and what your intake cfm requirements are (whether or not you have cam or heads or both).

Have fun trying to get gains out of an LS6 intake. Only place to see any power is in the TB opening and TB. Too much work and money. I would leave it or buy something else.

Don't waste money porting your LS6. I have an unported fast 90, and I'm not sure of the gains on it... On my setup I was told it may be 10-20rwhp, but who knows.

There are plenty of results in the dynometer section if its a Fast 90, do a search. as for a LS6, leave as is. Sell it for 300-350 and put it towards a FAST
