Default Suggestions for a mild H/C combo

I have an 02 LS1 into an 02 Xtreme swap and finally got around getting some custom header fabbed (sanderson shorties didn't work). I was thinking about doing a mild head / cam. I have two questions: what would be a good combo for a daily driver and what can I expect to pay?

The motor is bone stock and I was looking to give it some life while it was apart. I dont want to do any bottom end work, this will be a part time daily driver.

Any input would be appreciated.

I did a budget build for a daily driver. I went with a set of Patriot ported 243's with dual springs and a custom cam from Thunder Racing. (228/232). Peaks at 6300 on it's 112+2, very broad power, and it sits on top of a 100k mile bottom end.

If I were to do it again, I might go a tad smaller, 226/230-ish or even 224/228-ish and mill the heads a few CC's for higher compression or run thinner gaskets. And I'd go with a ported Fast 90 or ported LS2 manifold and 90mm TB.

for a dd set up you could do a 224/224 with a set of ported ls6 heads... that would make over 400hp with all your bolt ons... whats done to the car so far?

yeah he doesnt really seem like he wants something that big from the first post... and i wouldnt get a 90/90 combo for his application unless hes got the money to throw around b/c it doesnt show much of a gain over the ls6

I considered the a Fast / Nick Williams 90/90 combo, but I dont think I will get that much gains over my ls6 manifold, at least not that much to justify the the $1050. That can easily go towards a h/c combo.

As far as parts on the Blazer right now, a 3200 stall, Ram air, custom ecu. The truck will get tuned after I get a h/c. Custom headers, 3 in dual exhaust, I'm contemplating direct port though. I really havent done much.
