I'm running Mamofied AFR 205 heads with 63cc, .040 thick Cometics for a compression ratio of 11.18:1 on 91 Oct. They seem to pull stronger now but have not had time to dyno the improvements yet.

ETP 215, TFS 215 or AFR 205. All are around $2400, all have put down great numbers and all are considered "cream of the crop" for the LS1. Any one of those with the right cam/stall/gear combo will make you VERY happy.

TEA Stage 3 5.3L. Big valves, milled down to around 58cc, dual springs.

I like them, I made good power and awesome low end torque. Car drives great for the street.

Why not call a couple of sponsers to find out what they say about heads? All that Ive talked to have been really helpfull, and surprisingly honest. TSP guys talked me out of a much more expensive setup that I planned on buying from them because they had a cheaper pkg(by over 1000 dollars) that met my goals. The sponsers are good people.

AFR 205's milled to 59 cc. Would I change brands, probably not, but my second choice is TFS 215's. Either direction you I am sure you will be happy.
