Default Bunch of (noob) question

Hello everyone, I'm new to the whole modding process. I loved drag/street racing for many years. I have these questions which I hope you guys could answer

My car is a 2002 Camaro with 3.73 gears, headers and x pipe, MS4 camshaft
I use my cars on the street only
questions

-What heads are best suited for my MS4?
-How much Nos could i put on this car? 75/100/150
-Can I use NOS without tuning the car for NOS only
-Is there any cheater NOS? like ones that cannot be found when openning the pit
-Can I get over 450 hp without NOS using heads and cam

I would appreciate your help so much

-What heads are best suited for my MS4?

** Your going to get ALOT of opinions but start seaching the Dynometer section for MS4 dyno graphs and see what they make with heads and what type....

-How much Nos could i put on this car? 75/100/150

** Depending on the safety **** you run, plugs, and tune, 150 will be fine but then again you dont want to push it too hard lol.

-Can I use NOS without tuning the car for NOS only

** Its not recommended, running a N/A tune, then dumping a large shot on it with no other adjustments.

-Is there any cheater NOS? like ones that cannot be found when openning the pit

** A dry kit will allow for the most hiding but that kind of kit (depending on shot) will require a Nitrous tune and larger injectors. Check the NItrous Section.

-Can I get over 450 hp without NOS using heads and cam

** on a 2002 m6 car yes. On a Automatic, prob not but with auto's it isnt about the dyno #'s, its about the track times.

-not much of a nitrous guru but i know how to keep it safe dont go over a 100hp with out further upgrade on the motor and no tune
-there is not a specific kit for a hidden nitrous system but thats your chance to get creative.your biggest trouble is gonna be hiding the bottle the lines and ect such shouldnt be as hard.
-and u will be close to around high 300's low 400's with just heads and cam.

There is a kit by Nitrous Dave at Nitrous outlet, it is called the money maker, good luck finding it under a hood. :spy:

Also you can shoot dry ~100 shot without any tune change but need to use higher octane and TR6 plugs. Above that need to adjust fueling and timing.

Thanks you guys for the info.

So what is the difference between wet and dry? from what I see on cars, NOS is installed with a plate positioned on the throttle body so how could somone hide that?

and so I understand that 100 shot without tune is safe?

I heard that there are some extra expensive heads that can generate about 100hp, is that true?
