Katech
I am looking for feedback from members who took their car to Katech for work.
I own a 99 30th Anniversary Trans Am that I plan to keep for a long time. I have keep it stock for years and the truth is, even though I only drive the car 1,000 miles or less per year, I want more power in it. At the same time, I don’t want to taint the collectability of it.
From what I see Katech is very reputable. If I have them beef it up, I think I would feel more comfortable over having some local mechanic messing with it. I don’t even know what I want…12’s 11’s?
I’d like to hear any input. Thanks guys!

I've heard nothing but good things about Katech... no personal experience though...
you have a very nice car there my friend! And kudos to you for keeping the collectability of it up

Yea Katech might be pricey. They are a high end company though. You could get other quality work done from other sponsors as well. Shop around. Thats one sweet ride, I would understand the hesitance to go mod crazy!
Katech or any other reputable shop, dont just take it to any old service shop. Aside from a good LS1 shops knowledge and experience, it's likely you'll need some tuning afterwards which only a quality performance shop could give. Katech builds the engines for the C6R, so definitely no worries there.
