Default Best LS1 Head?

I'm building a 408 LS1 i was wondering what is the very best head for the lS1 right now.

Depends on your goals and budget. Probably the best head on the market is the ET Performance canted valve head. At around $7,000, it's not for everybody or every application, but you asked what was the best.

So many to choose from. AFR, Trick Flow, ETP, and All Pro. They all have thier place on the map and are arguably the best. Depends on many other things. All of these are over $2000 a pair and good quality pieces.

There's a guy on ebay that sells unused All Pro bare castings freakishly cheap. That's where I got mine from. Keep in mind though they aren't the newest dry deck version, but for the cost they are hard to beat.

for most people who have a limited budget, port, polished and milled stock castings like the LS6 heads and 5.3L heads are very good for the money.
