Engine swap and elec

The motor in my 98 is toast... I have a buddy with a 99ss motor..I know they have different elec. systems . Does that mean i have to change all the sensors??? And are the cam profiles different from 98 to 99ss???

direct swap as far as I know of. theres some slight differences but none that would create a problem as far as I know

If you use your 98 harness and PCM it should be easy. I would'nt mess with trying to change out the harness or pcm, they have different pinouts from 98 to 99.
