Default problem with my car please help.

i am having a problem with my car surging at idle, and holding high revs while it is moving. i unplugged the MAF before starting it, and it idled fine. i also checked the eng sens fuse and it seemed ok. does this sound like a bad MAF or might it be something else. i dont want to buy a new MAF if i dont have to. please let me know.

buy some MAF cleaner from the parts store, remove the MAF, spray the **** out of it! Make sure you get it all over the inside. Just dont touch the little wires inside. I dont know for 100% sure if this will fix your problem but its worth a try.

But i am gonna agree with radkon on this one though. Its probably in the tune.

+2 on the tune.

My car does it sometimes because it wasnt tuned after my FAST 90 install.

Sometimes it is fine and other times the idle hangs at about 1k rpm when comeing to a stop. Once I stop completely the idle drops to where it shoud be.

You need a tune.
