What is the biggest you can make a LQ9?
408? Or can you go out to a 418?

408 would be the best, unless you like headaches. some people do fine with the larger strokes. some people have had nightmares with them. most people that go 408 dont have any problems, unless its an installation error.

Largest. 4.06 bore and a 4.125 stroke. = 427.21164255ci

It might not be the most reliable setup. You'd have to have the block sonic checked for that bore and clearanced for the large stroke.
